Just out bragging.

Have you seen my new blinkie? Yep, I got a new one!!!!!!
I am offically a blue belle at Purple paper Flowers. Yeah me. Back in the swing of creative teams and their needs. They have just reopened and I am sooo excited that they are going to allow me to be on their creative team as a full time member. I haven't officially started yet...but I start April 1st.

Still ADSR crazed

Ok thank goodness my partner and I have made it two challenge 10. We only have 2 left before the grand prize. I can't wait to see us win!!!! Ok Challenge 9 came with some bumps in the road. The designer went missing and I nearly got a trojan virus from her blog. :(
So NDSIB decided to take over the challenge and do altered art. Altered art????

Here is what they say about altered art: Altered art is a broad term that encompasses many styles and genres of art. At its most basic, it gives a new artistic life to old and/or used mundane, utilitarian items through the application of techniques and combinations, some recognized as standard artistic methods, some not. "

Thank goodness for Tangie Baxter!!! She posted altered art freebies at NDSIB and then on her blog. I went to her store and grabbed two kits to play with too. I love the quote here: Reality is for those who lack imagination.....bought sums up my life lately!!!! But goodness do I love the Masters kit I picked up!!!!

Then a doosy came up!!! Plain Digistal Wrapper was hosting this week. It was my turn to make the layout for the week and I had to use 50 different elements by a minimum of 10 different designers. OK!!!! 50 elements is really quite cluttered on one page. I decided to take the idea from ah! Designs and several other and do a clustered border. It took me hours to do but I did end up with 53 different elements and used 27 different designers. I think I nearly did all of the designers in the digiworld...this week alone. My partner counted to make sure I had all of the elements and yep she can count them all too. I created a second version of this layout for my personal files that is less busy and I love it.

Can you see the difference removing some of the elements can make. I just love the complexity of my border and am just sooo excited about the fact that I actually made one.....I am definetly working outside of my box for this race.

Adsr is keeping me jumping.

Gee I have just been crazy busy with ADSR. Goodenss I haven't had time to do anything else lately. But Challenge 5 was perfectly timed. We had to interview an inanatimate object. DH had actually just had in accident in the charger on the Friday before the challenge posted. So I decided to discuss this accident with his poor dented bumper. Check it out a digitals here. But the car really just wants to be fixed as does my hubbys confidence!!!!

Adsr 6 ended up being a blessing since only one of the two people had to compete in this round. My partner, God love her, was willing and ready for the challenge.
Sweet Shoppe Designs was this weeks host. It was a scraplift of one of my layouts turned opposite. You had to alter the layout orientation and then alter the layout by creating an opposite layout in theme too. The prize was a totally adorable kit...I was sooo excited to pick it up.

ADSR challenge 7 made you really think...the girls at elemental scraps were really gonna play a number game. It was a two part challenge in which each partner had a different numbers game to follow. Mine include 7 alphas by only one desinger. I luckily love Flerg sooo much that I have every single kit minus 2 that she has created and she does an alpha for every kit. Soo it was really a no brainer whose kits I would use....Flerg!!!!
It has turned out to be acutally my favorite layout from this competition soo far! I was really challenged figure out what I had in my stash and use it all. I did have to buy one other kit, since I couldn't find any staples by Flerg in my stash. But the new kit definetly fits into my style...I didn't worry about spending the money on it.

The last challenge that I have done is challenge no. 8. Came from the host Natural deisgns.
It was to complete a travel layout using no travel items and
then only b and w photos. I loves these pictures that were taken from the St Louis arch. It was a non-planned road trip and we had a ball. And how could I not throw in a little Jovi for the journaling. I love that rubber band wrap!

Challenge 4 continued on this theme of journaling.....are they trying to kill me? This time only 1/4 of the page had to be journaling. It was a spill your secrets layout. How could I not do my obsession with Bon Jovi. Even my blog has bon jovi music on it. Hey I am a fan what can I say....

I am not big on blending which was part of the challenge so I used color burn and overlaying opacicities to meet that criteria. I can't really do blending the right way but I love how my layout turned out. I had a great time hunting through all of the fab Bon jovi pixs on google images. I even found one of him unclothed..(got that in my photobucket account-i need a new avatar). But my partner, Barb and I are both signed off for week 2. Here we come to win it all, so ladies get out of my way!!!!!

Crazy ADSR week 2

Well challenge 3 was spotted late Sunday and geeze did it stir up a whole heap of controversy. I really am not in this race for the individual prizes so I didn't care when they said the prize was a CD of 12 kits for $5. I could get it or not and not care one way or the other. Honestly the kits were not my style so I was just ready for the challenge. A layout containing atleast 1/2 page of journaling. I am not big on journaling so that was a toughy but I figured out what I wanted to do. I had been meaning to do this layout for awhile and it just evoled. I love the papers and overlays I found in my stash. And it is truly a huge stash to hunt through.(more on that later) but I got it done and am all really for challenge no. 4

ADSR Bonus challenge

We are on our way with week one officially over and week 2 starting up. I have some scrapping mojo today and decided to tackle the bonus challenge from dragonflair studios today. You can snag it here.

Scrap something you do everyday...hmmmm!! I am about the most regimented person for what I do everyday but I just had to play with a new kit from Heather Manning and this layout just evolved. I love the colors and the dreamy quaility. Now I just need to work on my Challenge no. 3
