mgl Scraps blog challenge

Make sure that you are checking out the mgl Scraps ct blog....this is my December Challenge.

It is merely 11 days till Christmas. In the world of gotta buy it all for Christmas we often lose sight of the true meaning of the holiday season. A tradition is a practice, custom, or story that is passed down from generation to generation. I want to hear all about your favorite holiday traditions that remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.

Every year I read The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere. The three books in the series are the saddest, and yet the most heart-warming stories I have read. They remind me that Christmas miracles can be large or small and come in the most unexpected ways. I have yet to see my miracle for this year, but I know that there will be one.

Please share with us your favorite Christmas tradition that reminds you of the spirit of the holidays. The challenge is to use at least one item from every kit you own by mgl Scraps. I am trusting all of you not to cheat, since Santa is still making his naughty and nice list.

Layouts are due on Sunday December 21. We will pick our favorite to received a goodie. Have a blessed holiday season.

This is my Christmas lesson.

adsr and life

Amazingly enought ADSR is getting ramped up to start in January. I love this game. I had a blast last year and am ready to go this year. I have a partner....check.
Team name....check
Blinkie.....had a ball making it
Regristration....done.

Can we start already???????

Other than that....life has been crazy. As you can see by my blinkie collection I have picked up a few creative teams recently. And Vasco is allowing me to guest for him this month!!! Yeah!

I have met some fab digital scrapbookers from the KC area and we are enjoying getting together and scrapping. We have met twice and both times I have been called to work for a prn person calling off. Goodness!!!! But I said NO WAY......It is sooo much fun to scrap with others around that will truly give you good feedback on your layouts.

And yep one final toot!!!! My vegas book is getting published in the Daily Scrapper paper. OMG!!! A first for me - real publication!!!! I chose my fremont street layout and then the fountain by night layout for the article. Yeah!!!!!!

Ok-off to go desk shopping on the net. Have a great week.
