To jazzercise or not to jazzercise???

I have signed up for a free program at the local Jazzercise near my home. I don't know if I can handle it, but I really want to try.....still lacking motivation though. I have new shoes for class, a new water bottle, and new exercise clothes....now all I need is for me to get up and go to class.

will I be the only fat one there? I hope not.......
will others make fun of me? Hopefully not to my face.....
can I really do this? I am gonna try......

The program encompasses class 3 times a week, nutritional sessions, fat analysis, a personal training class, and the motivation to come.....They tell me that if I don't come they will call me.
I have to provide a testomonial at the end about how Jazzercise has helped me achieve my weight loss goals.....God, I need a goal too.......

Goal-to loose 20 lbs.

Digital scrapbooking

I am now 3 weeks into my new class on Digital scrapbooking. I never knew how much PSE could actually do. Each week I have been required to read new topics that relate to the assignment...such as layers palette or drop shadows. I have learned a ton and definely am hooked on this form of scrapbooking. I have been on the internet scouring for free digital elements and have found several. I am in love with the items on the Shabby princess. I have purchased a few kits and am enjoying playing with those. I really think this is the new way to scrapbook.

The one draw back is printing layouts is gonna get very expensive.....it uses alot of ink to print a layout....in class we are doing 6x6 and already my cartridge low lights are blinking. Ohhhh myyyy!!!!!!!!!

Choosing Joy is over. It is sad that this class has ended. It was definitely an amazing 8 weeks of work. I learned so much from Kolette Hall and her husband Jason about the choices that we must make in life. I have learned to definitely let go of my grudges and slights from others and must choose to add joy to my life. Her story is one of challenge and triumph, and my life is not nearly that challenging. Living with near constant back pain has definitely made me a more whiny person, but I must try to change my attitude. I have learned that it is what I do with these struggles that will make me a successful person or not. I truly wish to be successful.

I need to finish off my book-having only the bonus "What I learned" layout left. But I am planning on redoing my "Celebrate me" layout over....I destroyed the first one not liking the outcome. Picking the 26 alphabet facts was easy but I did not like the look of all of the circles, and random words everywhere for the layout. Mine did not compare to hers. I just hated it. So against the scrapper code I am redoing it with a new idea of only one page and computer printed text. I will use the second of the two page spread to hold my Thank you cards made for the class.

Now tomorrow begins a new chapter my first Digital scrapbooking experience. I am taking the new class called Doing it Digi....I can't wait. I have had photoshop elements for almost 6 months and can't wait to learn to use some of its features to enhance my paper scrapbooking. Besides just using it for a fancy photo editing program. I am sooooooo excited to begin my new adventure.

Page maps- Love these by Becky Fleck. Once a month she designs the coolest sketches for scrapbookers, and sends them out in a newsletter pdf file. I am amazed that she can come up with at least a dozen new sketches every month of the year. She has done circles, 8 1/2 by 11, tags, cards and the standard 12 x 12 pages. I wait eagerly every month for the new maps to come out. I keep them handy when scrapping for instant inspiration. I am truly a fan!!!!!!!!!

Challenge yourself to do something new today. The first of the month for every scrapper is filled with message board challenges. The design team members come out with new challenges every month on both message boards that I read: Creative scrap shack and Treasured scrapbooking.
It is nice to begin the month with challenges to keep you creative. I don't always end up getting the challenges completed but I will try to remember them when I need a creative push. And man do I need a creative push now and then.

My challenge this week: To make one card inspired by Carole Janson....what an amazing scrapper. Everything is 3 dimensional and the coolest I have seen in a long while. Girly you are the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her blog can be found in a link at Creative Scrap Shack.
